Journalism is important to my life as it aspires me to speak out without fear, endows me to
adhere to the political aspects of sports, and encourages me to appreciate the power of athletes;
however, there the Achilles heel of sports writers is that the focus is sometimes more on the
sports than the real news shaping reality.
