WHY I WRITE

Behind the Veil

Writing exposes the skeleton of a person. Ink strips meat from the bones, and presents a hollow shell that allows us to see the soul truth hidden under the fallacy of skin worn to protect ourselves. We spend our lives proving this external view exemplifies the “real me” to others gullible enough to believe. We become so good that we eventually con ourselves.

This is an inquiry I’ve dealt with for most of my life, the reason I became a writer in the first place. The art of storytelling allows me to turn what may sound like fantasy into a logical reality. I remind readers that dreaming is real, and as important as being honest with the dreamer. If there is a goal you want to accomplish, believe in it. I'm here to ensure that it comes to past, and that your narrative exposes your ideals, not the face of someone else's.
